Laughing!
Morgan was smiling at Paige today and she just burst out laughing! It was not just a little giggle but full out laughing! I think it even startled her a little bit, but she just kept going. I am so proud of my little baby and I hope I can get her to laugh again tomorrow!
P.S. The picture is right after bath time. I love it because her hair always goes crazy after it's washed (and Morgan likes to poof it up even more)!

Paige can roll over!
All my posts have been about being a new mommy, and I want to keep continue writing about my baby even more. I want to be able to read back and remember the special moments of Paige growing up.
Two weeks a go from today Paige rolled over for the first time! Too bad I didn't get to see it... I laid Paige on a blanket on the floor so I could brush my teeth and by the time I got back to the next room she had rolled from her back to her belly! Later that day my sister Amber came over and I was telling her about Paige's accomplishment. I laid her down on her belly, and Amber was watching her while I went to get Paige some toys from her room... As soon as I left the room Amber started yelling for me to come here but by the time I got back Paige had rolled over from her belly to her back!
For two weeks I kept trying to get Paige to roll over for me again but she just wouldn't and then last night I laid her on her belly and she rolled over with no problems. She then just looked at me and smiled so big! I hurried and got the camcorder and started recording and she rolled over one more time for me!! I am such a proud mommy, and I love how playful she is becoming. She loves playing on her play mat with all the toys above her, and she is such a smiley, happy baby! I am excited for every stage, and milestone she will reach this year!
P.S. If I can figure out how to get the movie from my camcorder I will put it up!

Blessing Day
Morgan blessed Paige last Sunday and it was absolutely beautiful. I was pretty stressed making sure everything was perfect, and when it finally came everything went so smoothly. I was amazed at how well Morgan did, it was perfect, and Paige was good the entire time! After church both of our families came over to our house and ate lunch and visited for a long time. It was so nice to have everyone there, and I was super excited to meet some of Morgan's extended family I had not had the chance to meet!

Princess Paige turns 4 weeks!
My sweetie turns 4 weeks today and I can't believe how fast time has gone. I love her so much and I love getting to know her personality! Every day brings a new adventure and it's the most amazing thing in the world to be a mommy! I am amazed when I watch Morgan with her, he is such a good Daddy! He actually likes diaper changes, and he loves giving Paige baths and washing her hair. I am so blessed to have such a great family!!
A few of my favorite things about Paige are:
-She has the cutest, fluffiest hair after a bath! It becomes unruly and it's so so cute!
-Her little noises. She loves to squeak and grunt
-Her facial expressions. She is very animated and loves to smile, grin very huge, look troubled, frown, etc. She has so many faces!
-Her cute adorable cry! Paige doesn't cry very much at all, she mostly will just make a little squeak when she wants something so when she does cry it's so cute!!
-Her beautiful face. I love looking at her, she is so beautiful!
-Her absolutely stunning skin. She has a beautiful olive complexion that she got from Morgan.
-Her eyes. When she looks at me, and starts to interact I just love it so much. She has been getting more interactive every day!
-Her personality. Okay, I'm still getting to know her, but so far she is very sweet! She is super cuddly and loves to be held!
I am going to try and update every week what is happening with our family, and mostly Paige!

Our Beautiful Baby
It has now been one week a go on April 17th that I gave birth to our beautiful, healthy baby girl Paige. She came into this world at 6:10 in the morning weighing 6 pounds 7 ounces, and measuring 19 inches long!
I was actually scheduled to be induced Friday the 17th in the evening and Paige decided she wanted to come naturally instead :). I took Thursday off of work because I became so uncomfortable I could not even stand for very long, and was extremely exhausted. Morgan had also taken the night off of work to be with me, and to get some sleep before the induction the next day. Thursday night I was just getting ready for bed and had laid down to watch a little TV before going to sleep. All of a sudden I felt the baby punch me and... my water broke! I quickly jumped up in a panic and started saying, "we need to go to the hospital, my water just broke!" Morgan got ready faster than I knew any person could get ready, and in about two minutes we were out the door. My contractions started almost immediately and from the beginning to her birth it was about 6 hours! Morgan was so amazing through the whole process. He was such a great support, and I don't know if I could have done it without him! Right after Paige was born I got to hold her for a second before they whisked her away to the NICU. She was having a hard time transitioning and breathing, so they put her on a ventilator and some monitors for about two hours. Luckily Morgan got to with her so I wasn't as worried. After about an hour and half I finally got to go up there and see her, and then we went to the nursery where they gave her a bath and her shots. Right before we left the hospital Paige had her Billiruben levels checked for jaundice and she was measuring really high so we had to go back the next day and have them checked again. After they were measuring high again her Dr. decided to put her on a UV bed. It is really sad to see her on it, but luckily they brought the bed straight to our house! Today her levels have dropped quite drastically so hopefully she can go off of the bed!
Being a mother has truly changed me and my outlook on life. I absolutely love her so much and am excited to watch her grow and change! Life is great!!
