"I belong to the church of Jesus Christ of latter Day Saints"

Since Morgan and I have gotten married we have been setting major goals in our lives. We are going to go through the temple together and be sealed to each other forever. Since we have set that goal and have started working toward it we have noticed a huge change in our lives. We feel very blessed to have each other, our jobs, our home to come home to and much, much more. We can feel the love our Heavenly Father has for us and we know the gospel has really helped us in our lives.
We also have a goal to start a family! We are both so ecstatic about that and the day it happens will be so exciting!
Also, more goals further down the road... buying a home, finishing school, paying for school, etc.

Back to school

Summer has come, and almost gone. I am sad that it's almost over. We didn't do everything we wanted to this summer, but we did have a lot of fun together!

Our summer recap:

We got married!!

Went to San Diego

Moved to Spanish Fork

Watched the first three seasons of Grey's Anatomy. It became an obsesion really.

Went camping

Really experienced sushi and loved it! Nope... raw fish does not scare us.

Started making our house a home: bought new furniture, and have started decorating

Went swimming with the nieces and nephews

Had many great nights just hanging out with our friends Ian and Emily

Cuddled... a lot

etc.

I guess we did do more than I thought, but we haven't been down the Provo river on our River rats (tubes) yet. That is one thing I am determined to do before the water gets too cold and the temp. drops. It has to be really hot because once you're in the water it tends to get a little cold!

Now that fall is almost here I have to say I think the changing leaves are absolutely stunning and the air is very refreshing. It is the perfect time of year for a long walk or a drive up the canyon. It's the perfect time to roll down the windows and really enjoy the breeze.

Back to school is now here! I am excited and a little nervous to begin again. I start school on August 27th, and Morgan has already begun classes. I graduated with my cosmetology degree over a year a go, and before that I went to UVSC for one semester, so it's been quite a while. I might be a little rusty but I am eager to learn and excited for a challenge. My mind is not completely made up what I am going into which makes it a little harder, but I still have some generals I need to complete before I really take off. Morgan is very motivated and excited to work toward his degree in hospital management. He is very diligent and I am very excited for him!!

Fun in the sun

Last week we had some family up from Saint George so we all got together to go to Payson pool. I'm more about the swimming and playing than the laying out so I had a blast! Cloey and Dillian were so playful and they wanted me to do everything with them. We went around the lazy river played under the spilling bucket and Cloey showed me her amazing swimming skills! Cloey is a little princess and she is so loveable, she loves cuddling and holding hands. I always love when they come up! Jason took Mason off the diving board and he wasn't scared at all! After that Cloey decided she wanted to go too, so I jumped first and waited for her to jump into my arms! She loved it so much! When it came time to go the kids were so sad to see us go. I really hope we get to see them before Christmas!

Marriage

Morgan and I have been married almost three months now and loving every minute. Being married is more than I ever thought, and there is a joy that comes with that which I had never known before. He is the most wonderful husband, and I am excited to one day go through the temple with him. I feel like we are true soul mates, and I am truly lucky :)

About a month a go we moved to our new place in Spanish Fork, which is so cute! I am finally getting it decorated how I like and it's truly coming together! I love being so close to work, family, and friends. We plan on being here for a couple years, and maybe even starting a family here.

On the 24th of July Morgan and I went to the Spanish Fork parade with Ian and Emily. It was a lot of fun! That day, we also attended another tradition... sushi! It's a new tradition, but after the discovery of a good sushi place in Provo I keep getting cravings for sushi making it a weekly occurance. I am glad Morgan, Ian, and Emily like it just as much so I can continue to satisfy my craving!

Summer Fun

Over the 4th of July Morgan and I went camping for the first time of the year! We went with his brother Jason, sis-in-law Michele, nephew Mason, and his mom Pam.

We went into the mountains above Richfield. I had never been camping there before, and it was absolutely breathtaking. The evergreens were lush and full, their were wild flowers growing everywhere and a creek ran right next to the camp spot. There were not a lot of people there which was great. I love getting away, and camping as far from people as I can so it was perfect. Morgan, Jason, and I went on a 5 mile hike to the summit. It was cool when we started, but I quickly got really hot and had to take off all my extra layers. once we got to the top there was quite a bit of snow and the wind was really high so I put my winter coat back on. The view was amazing, I felt like I was on top of the world! That night it started storming with rain and hail so hard we all hid under the tent for a while. By the time it stopped, everything was completely soaked so we decided we needed to pack up and go before it started again. We would've stayed, but we couldn't make a fire so we would all freeze! Other than that, it was a great start to the summer!

Blessed!

We have now been in our new place for a week and we absolutely love it! It's so clean and nice, and it feels like home. We have been decorating, and it is so cute! We went to clean the old place yesterday to get it ready for the new tenants and when we got there I realized how small it was. I don't know how we lived there for as long as we did. I am really grateful that we did live there because I appreciate what we have now so much! We are so blessed with what we have.

Bridals

For my bridals we went to the Spanish Fork Golf Course. Like all of my pictures for the wedding, it was very overcast. It had been raining that morning, and we were really close to rescheduling, but we went for it. It sprinkled a little bit and it was freezing, but they turned out great!
