Happy Birthday Morgan!

On Friday July 17th Morgan turned 28! We decided to have a date night just the two of us, so Aunt Michele watched Paige for a little bit. We went to Carrabbas which is pretty much Morgan's favorite restaurant which was delicious as always:) I attempted to make his birthday cake which turned out not so great... next year I will put more effort into it and really make it great(Paige decided the whole time she wanted to play with me and be held so I was quickly frosting it as fast as I could).

I feel so blessed to have Morgan as my husband. He is so good to Paige and me. Every day I see how much he is trying so hard to be a good husband and father. He has been going to school since a couple of months after we got married so that someday I can be a stay-at-home mom, or whatever I choose. I love how sensitive Morgan is, and how understanding he can be. During my pregnancy he was always there for me, and would be completely understanding if I started crying for no reason:) I love Morgan very much and I look forward to the day that we can become a forever family!

Laughing!

Morgan was smiling at Paige today and she just burst out laughing! It was not just a little giggle but full out laughing! I think it even startled her a little bit, but she just kept going. I am so proud of my little baby and I hope I can get her to laugh again tomorrow!

P.S. The picture is right after bath time. I love it because her hair always goes crazy after it's washed (and Morgan likes to poof it up even more)!

Paige can roll over!

All my posts have been about being a new mommy, and I want to keep continue writing about my baby even more. I want to be able to read back and remember the special moments of Paige growing up.

Two weeks a go from today Paige rolled over for the first time! Too bad I didn't get to see it... I laid Paige on a blanket on the floor so I could brush my teeth and by the time I got back to the next room she had rolled from her back to her belly! Later that day my sister Amber came over and I was telling her about Paige's accomplishment. I laid her down on her belly, and Amber was watching her while I went to get Paige some toys from her room... As soon as I left the room Amber started yelling for me to come here but by the time I got back Paige had rolled over from her belly to her back!

For two weeks I kept trying to get Paige to roll over for me again but she just wouldn't and then last night I laid her on her belly and she rolled over with no problems. She then just looked at me and smiled so big! I hurried and got the camcorder and started recording and she rolled over one more time for me!! I am such a proud mommy, and I love how playful she is becoming. She loves playing on her play mat with all the toys above her, and she is such a smiley, happy baby! I am excited for every stage, and milestone she will reach this year!

P.S. If I can figure out how to get the movie from my camcorder I will put it up!

Blessing Day

Morgan blessed Paige last Sunday and it was absolutely beautiful. I was pretty stressed making sure everything was perfect, and when it finally came everything went so smoothly. I was amazed at how well Morgan did, it was perfect, and Paige was good the entire time! After church both of our families came over to our house and ate lunch and visited for a long time. It was so nice to have everyone there, and I was super excited to meet some of Morgan's extended family I had not had the chance to meet!
